2020 - Seasonal Pitch Update
Seasonal Pitches - Please see the following information. Please let me know if you are interested in a seasonal pitch for the remainder of the season.
The following has been issued by the Welsh Government and will apply after July the 6th concerning static caravans. Please read carefully and check out the information for Happy Jakes immediately after.
The definition as drafted is any accommodation that is entirely self-contained, e.g. holiday cottages, holiday caravans including modern touring caravans and motorhomes and some glamping accommodation with their own kitchens and bathrooms that no other guests use.
Hotels and other serviced accommodation (e.g. B&Bs, hostels, etc.) that do provide en-suite rooms and can provide room service meals also come into this category.
Caravan parks where accommodation is entirely self-contained also fall into this category – but shared facilities on the premises will remain closed, such as swimming pools, leisure facilities, shared shower and toilets blocks, shared laundry, etc., and public areas in other accommodation types. Discussions will also be held with the hospitality sector about the potential phased reopening of pubs, cafes and restaurants while maintaining strict social distancing.
We are very pleased to announce that you will be welcome on site from July 6th BUT to strict adherence to the following:
Only Seasonal Pitch Holders on site - NO Family visitor or visitors of any kind at any time - NO Exceptions
NO site facilities will be open - Shower Block, Shop, Play Park will be closed.
2 Meter rule to be followed at all times.
Your van must be fully self contained.
Your temperature will be tested daily by Mandy at her office. Any sign of high temperature you will be asked to return home and not return for 14 days.
Gates will remain closed and opened only for leaving and entering site.
Anyone found breaking these rules will be asked to leave the site.
Protect yourselves and respect others at all times.
